The DS Series centrifugal casters
The DS Series of centrifugal casters are produced for casting Dental
alloys and components, Platinum, Titanium and general small components
in various alloys.
The standard models are as follows:
DS1 - This system melts using 2.5KW of power in low frequency, in order to permit homogeneous melts. It can handle a maximum flask size of 8x8cm (3x3 inches).
This
system can be fitted with a larger power supply (up to 5KW), single
or dual spectrum temperature controls and internal water circulation
systems.
DS2 - This system is the same as the DS1, except this model is incorporated with a system to pull a complete vacuum in the centrifugal chamber along with a system for dispensing inert gas into the chamber.
DS3 - Similar to DS1 and DS2, this system was developed for the casting of Titanium, though it has the flexibility of being able to melt and cast most other alloys. The system is fitted with special lockdowns, which ensures the elimination of oxygen leaks after the vacuum is pulled. During the melting cycle, the system automatically backfills the centrifugal chamber twice with inert gas.
